Affordable Housing Developer and Financing Expert
Several platforms under the NREUV umbrella, WFL Collective™(WFLC), Project Community Capital®(PCC), and Heighten The Hustle™, will provide services on-site, which provide Hough and other Cleveland residents with economic opportunities. A large part of what PCC does is connect individuals with employment, education, and training opportunities. Through its Non-Profit arm – WFLC has formed collaborations with Towards Employment, Dress for Success, and The Centers. WFLC is based on a collective impact model that brings organizations with similar missions to attain similar goals. PCC and WFLC will continue to work to create additional partnerships that will help provide the services residents will need to be successful. PCC cultivates relationships with employers by leveraging Dr. Merritt's high-value social capital, PCC/WFLC's founder, and her team's network of employer relationships.
PCC's business services include consulting for small businesses and connections to contracting opportunities. Heighten The Hustle™, PCC's entrepreneurial accelerator, provides a business plan boot camp, seed capital, and contract connections (via social capital) to help elevate entrepreneurs from the hustle in their homes to a business in the mainstream.
PCC is grounded in technology. PCC's employment connections are accomplished through an online database (Workforce Leverage™) that employers use to locate "Ready-To-Work" employment candidates. WFLC's social service partners utilize PCC technology to track their employment referrals through the PCC system. Partners can view the profile of the referred employment candidates, learn about the interview process results, learn about the challenges the candidates face, and indicate whether those problems have been resolved so that PCC can re-interview them and eventually connect them with employment.

RDL's mission is to serve the present and influence the future through careful planning and thoughtful design of timeless architecture. By using research to inform design, they can enhance the user experience for all who enter the space. RDL Architects has established a strong placemaking, architecture, and interior design portfolio which spans across building type, style and function, and is tailored to fit the needs of all clients.
RDL believes in the power and efficiency of a collaborative design process rooted in research. First and foremost, they identify a project’s goals, challenges, obstacles, and requirements. Based on these assessments, RDL creates a plan with clear, concise, and measurable objectives to achieve these goals, partnering with clients, contractors and construction managers throughout the entire process.
RDL's interior design skill is a highlight of their services, and RDL was chosen to reinforce the teams belief that affordable housing should be expertly designed and crafted with care.
